The show, now in its ninth year, will feature five floors and a terrace and will showcase regional venues, event suppliers, corporate hospitality and technology.

The show is aimed at event buyers, corporate event bookers and personal assistants who book corporate events. This year will see it extend its first day hours in response to calls from the industry, said the organiser.

Features of the show will include seminars on the latest venues, crucial hospitality dates and social media trends with keynote speakers to be announced in the coming months.

Last year, the show attracted 7,430 (ABC audited), a three per cent dip in visitors from the previous year but an approximate seven per cent increase on the 2010 show.

The show’s organiser also runs on-trade wine and drinks exhibition, Imbibe Live which reported a record attendance of more than 9,200 (ABC audit pending) 2-3 July.
