Stock Displays' New Light Boxes are a Hit at The Royal Albert Hall

Stock Displays recently completed a contract to upgrade 32 40''x 60'' light boxes for the world famous Royal Albert Hall in London.

Doncaster based company Stock Displays recently completed a contract to upgrade 32 40''x 60'' light boxes for the world famous Royal Albert Hall in London. The upgraded light boxes replaced the old illuminated poster boards at the iconic building.

The new frames, which were made to order at Stock Displays' manufacturing facility in South Yorkshire, had to be built to an exact specification so that they could be attached to the existing posts which circle the north entrance to the Hall.

The Royal Albert Hall contacted Stock Displays after they decided to upgrade the old poster boards that had been in place for over twenty years. Due to the old boards having their posters pasted onto them they were open to the elements and to vandalism, so the posters would quickly look worn and tatty. When seeking a solution, the Royal Albert Hall's marketing team turned to their supplier Stock Displays.

Stock Displays' Managing Director Damian Edwards said of the new installation “we have been supplying various display products to the Hall for some time now, so when I heard about their plans I suggested that we could manufacture some waterproof, vandal resistant lockable light boxes which could replace their old illuminated poster boards.

“Not only did this provide the perfect solution to their problem, but it was also a more logical alternative to pulling up all of the old posts and replacing them with a completely new system.”

Stock Displays, who also manufacture a range of other displays solutions including LED light boxes and pavement signs, were able to complete the contract in less than two weeks from start to finish as the complete manufacture and production of the specially designed light boxes took place in-house at their UK facility.
