Telford’s International Centre has expanded its operation with the purchase of a hotel and conference centre. The Grays Hotel & Conference Centre hotel has 15 conference and meeting rooms, which the team from TIC thinks will be a perfect compliment to the existing TIC facilities.
“We have taken the decision to purchase the property because we need to increase the hotel rooms available to us and its location, just two minutes from our front door, makes it the perfect addition to our facilities.” Says TIC chief executive, Tom Gray. “The new hotel will take the total of hotel rooms available as part of The International Centre complex to just under 350, with 3,000 available altogether within a 30-minute drive of the Centre itself. We are absolutely delighted to have secured such facilities in this prime location, and to ensure our customers have easy access to the exhibition halls there will be a shuttle bus service available between the Grays Hotel & Conference Centre and the main International Centre site.”
