<p>A major conference is taking place in the South of England, according to a source.<br/> <br/>The British Resorts and Destinations Association is holding its annual gathering across three days in Torquay, reports thisissouthdevon.co.uk.<br/> <br/>Livermead House Hotel is opening its doors to stage the conference, which will see all things tourism discussed, <a href="http://www.tsnn.co.uk/event_management_organisers/suppliers" target="_self">event organisers</a> may be interested to hear.<br/> <br/>Georgina Bowen, marketing manager for the English Riviera Tourist Board, told the news provider about the benefits of the region hosting this event.<br/> <br/>She said: "It serves to bring the English Riviera to the forefront of British tourism management and raises our profile across the country."<br/> <br/>Ms Bowen went on to say that she is "delighted" that the conference has come to Torquay.<br/> <br/>A range of seminars and discussions are set to take place at the event, with talks from Visit England among those planned, the source added.<img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-19210053-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
