Following the success of the 2009 Expo, Unique Venues of London (UVL) has announced the date for its next annual event held in conjunction with Visit London.

Taking place at the Science Museum on Thursday 15 July, the Expo will provide third party agencies and corporate guests the opportunity to witness the variety UVL offers to the events market.

With the support of Visit London for the second year running, guests will be invited for breakfast from 8am, followed by an opportunity to explore all 69 member venues, including Somerset House, Kew Gardens and HMS Belfast.

The event will also coincide with a first-look at the recently upgraded ‘Who am I?’ gallery, offering bookers and buyers access to this highly interactive exhibition located in the Science Museum’s Wellcome Wing.

Lisa Hatswell, Chairman of UVL and Sales and Corporate Events Manager at The Merlin Entertainments London Eye comments: “Following the excellent feedback from last year, we are delighted to have set another date for our Expo. With such a diversity of venues, the Expo enables bookers the perfect opportunity to preview all UVL members in just one morning.”

Zanine Adams, Head of Event Solutions and UK Sales at Visit London said: “Last year’s Expo was a huge success and we are delighted to be supporting this showcase for a second year, especially with all eyes on London ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London 2012. The event only further highlights London’s diverse offerings to buyers and we give UVL our full support”.
