UVL announces expo for event organisers
Unique Venues of London (UVL) has confirmed that its expo will take place on Thursday July 15th at the Science Museum.
Event organisers, third party agencies and corporate guests will be able to check out the range of venues on offer in London, such as Somerset House, Kew Gardens and HMS Belfast.
The expo is being run with the support of Visit London for the second year running and will feature stands advertising 69 member venues.
"With such a diversity of venues, the expo enables bookers the perfect opportunity to preview all UVL members in just one morning," said Lisa Hatswell, chairman of UVL and sales and corporate events manager at The Merlin Entertainments London Eye.
Zanine Adams, head of event solutions and UK sales at Visit London, added that the organisation had decided to support the showcase for a second year after the success of the 2009 event.
Last week, Clarion Events announced that it is to launch a new trade show for the gift industry which will be held at Olympia this September.
