UBM Live, organisers of Working Buildings 2009, has announced that entries are now open for the prestigious <b>Working Buildings Innovation Awards 2009</b>.

Celebrating innovation and business excellence in the effective and efficient management of a working building, the awards are open to all exhibiting companies at Working Buildings 2009. Taking place from 7-8 October at London Olympia, Working Buildings is comprised of three co-located events: Total Workplace Management, the UK’s largest FM and Estates Event; M&E - The Building Services Event, the UK’s only dedicated building services event and Energy Solutions Expo, the UK’s fastest growing energy management event.
</p><p>
Deadline for entries to the awards, which recognise exceptional products or services launched to the UK market within the last 12 months, is Friday, 4th September 2009 and the judging will be performed by a panel of industry experts. The winners presentation will take place during lunchtime on the first day of the events, Wednesday 7 October.

Run in association with PFM magazine, the categories for the Working Buildings Innovation Awards 2009 are as follows:</p><ol>

<li><b>Best innovation in energy management</b>

<li><b>Best innovation in FM services</b>

<li><b>Best innovation in building services</b>

<li><b>Best product innovation</b>

<li><b>Best innovation in health & safety</b>

In addition, the 2009 awards will feature a new category: <b>London Workplace of the Year</b>. Open to all companies and not just those exhibiting at the events, this award will be presented to a London workplace that has demonstrated innovation in improving the working life of its employees and its impact on the environment.
