Auto Trader Used Car Awards 2007 enjoys Infinite Plasma

A November ceremony celebrating the year’s most popular used cars, as voted for by visitors to the Auto Trader website and viewers of ITV 4’s the Used Car Roadshow, used an Infinite Plasma screen to make the most of limited space.

The inaugural Auto Trader Used Car Year Awards was hosted by the television show’s presenters Jason Dawe and Penny Mallory and was held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.

With ITV 4’s outside broadcast crew on site, space was at a premium, so the Infinite Plasma screen was the perfect choice, also offering the highest possible resolution images for the lowest physical footprint. With its almost seamless display, the screens provide high-quality performance at a lower cost than equivalent LED options.

Stuart Holmes of PSCo, which supplied the screen, said: “The Infinite Plasma is the ideal presentation tool for organisers of televised award ceremonies. The virtually seamless screen makes for a comfortable viewing experience, while the organiser benefits from space savings not available to projection systems.”

Additionally, PSCo crew were on hand to calibrate the screen at set up, ensuring the perfect colour balance, and remained available throughout the show to provide any necessary additional technical support.
