<p>Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre and Ballroom will stage the two-day Green Flag award ceremony next month, hosting almost 2,000 delegates.</p><p><a href="http://www.tsnn.co.uk/event_management_organisers/suppliers" target="_self">Event organisers</a> Keep Britain Tidy said the conference centre is an ideal choice as it has large capacity and overlooks the Green Flag award-winning gardens in Bournemouth.</p><p>TV presenter Michaela Strachan will hand out the awards at the event, which is split into four ceremonies over July 22nd and 23rd and will feature a formal dinner in the Pavilion's ballroom.</p><p>The event is expected to generate over £500,000 for the town through delegate expenditure.</p><p>"It's a real honour to host the Green Flag Award event. Bournemouth is internationally recognised as being clean, lean and green - being host reinforces this message," said Peter Gunn, managing director of the Pavilion and its sister venue Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).</p><p>This weekend (July 4th and 5th), the BIC will play host to the British Powerlifting Championship.<br/><img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-19243015-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
