Leading British event registration and delegate data management software firm Eventsforce has become the first UK headquartered technology company to support the recently launched Britain for Events 2013-14 campaign.

Eventsforce joins other leading meetings industry professionals and associations in lending support to the campaign which aims to grow, progress and promote the UK events industry and to encourage event organisers around the world to buy British. The campaign has recently received support from VisitScotland, London & Partners, Liverpool Convention Bureau and International Confex as well as the Business Visits and Events Partnership (BVEP).

Eventsforce CEO George Sirius commented: “Eventsforce is a successful British software company operating in the meetings and events sector and so we are delighted to support the Britain for Events campaign this year. As our international client base continues to grow, we will certainly be supporting the campaign message of ‘buy British’ and of course will fly the flag for the UK events industry.

“The world has witnessed first-hand what we achieved as hosts of one of the biggest events in the world with the 2012 Olympics and we at Eventsforce regularly see amazing events being created, managed and delivered using our software as a platform. We are proud to support our national events sector which provides such excellent service and facilities for conferences and events of all types.”

Michael Hirst, on behalf of the Britain For Events Co-ordinating Committee, said: “It is great to have Eventsforce sign up to this year’s Britain for Events campaign. Eventsforce helps to deliver thousands of events every year and their support will be invaluable in delivering the programme and underlines their own positioning of being a trusted partner for successful events.

“Their participation is yet more evidence of the growing endorsement by event businesses and government departments for the campaign, which aims to raise the profile of the industry and create a more competitive environment for future growth. I hope many more businesses and other organisations which benefit from a successful events industry will follow Eventforce’s enterprising move and sign up to support the campaign as well.”

Eventsforce recently announced that the total of event registration fees to pass through its system since the launch of the product in 2004 had exceeded £250 million. Focusing on enterprise-level events, Eventsforce has established a strong reputation for quality, security and robustness amongst major corporate clients and agencies in addition to providing a tailored approach with personalised support and services. The company’s clients include Schroders, UBM, Haymarket, TFI Group and Santander.
