Gala Tent expands marquee business and launches three new products at Event Production Show
Marquee specialist, Gala Tent Ltd, has resisted the worst of the recession to break £5m turnover, expand into a third business unit and recruit new personnel, all in readiness for three new product launches in early 2011.
The company currently operates from two large units and has just purchased a third 15,000 sq ft warehouse to add to its existing 25,000 sq ft. The new unit will provide much needed storage for the expanding range of modular event buildings, commercial gazebos and event furniture.
MD Jason Mace said, “Our growth curve levelled out during the last two years of recession but now we have restructured and reinvested in preparation for expansion in 2011. During this period we have been developing new products for the event market and recruiting staff in readiness.”
The company will be launching a new range of commercial gazebos, a space saving event and banqueting chair and an entirely new take on the traditional round banqueting table, all at the Event Production Show.
