Media 10, organisers of the Ideal Home Show events, has revealed that the final Ideal Home Show at Christmas to be held at Earls Court, welcomed an impressive 85,000 visitors.

The show, held over 5 days from 19th to 23rd November, opened in style with celebrity chefs Gino D'Acampo and Lisa Faulkner, interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, gadget expert Suzi Perry and wine expert Olly Smith cutting the ribbon and welcoming huge crowds into Earls Court Exhibition Centre.

Alongside the festive exhibition’s indoor ice rink and Christmas tree installation, more than 650 exhibitors showcased their products and services. Visitors enjoyed festive entertainment, top tips from Christmas Experts, cooking demonstrations, inspirational room sets and even a Christmas Movie or 2.

Rob Nathan, group marketing director for Media 10, commented: "With a huge number of visitors attending again this year, and an incredible opening day full of celebrities and live expert demos, we hope all who came had a day out to remember. We are sure our five day run helped to put the British public in the festive mood and really give them some inspiration for gifts for this year's celebrations. A terrific final show for Earls Court, and an honour to be the final exhibition held here, before we return to our original roots at Olympia London next year.”

The show will be back for its 107th edition in November 2015 at Olympia, London, where the first ever Ideal Home Exhibition was hosted in 1908.
