For the second consecutive year, design and communications agency, Logistik worked with the MOBO organisation to ensure that the 12th annual award ceremony was the biggest and most spectacular in the MOBO Awards history.

The event took place at the new O2 Arena in September, with Logistik providing the event production for the prestigious show.

Together with the producers of the event, Logistik organised and managed all technical and logistical elements of the ceremony, from set design, lighting, sound and AV, to production and performance schedules.

“It was great to work on the MOBO Awards for a second year in a row,” said Logistik director James Wilkins. “The atmosphere was amazing and the team got a real buzz from working together and seeing their efforts come to fruition on such a major scale. We have established a good working relationship with the MOBO Organisation and we hope that it is one that we can continue to develop.”

This year the MOBO awards was hosted by Jamelia and Shaggy and featured live performances from 50 Cent, Ne-yo, Craig David, Kano and many more.

The event is Europe’s biggest and most credible music of black origin awards. It was broadcast on BBC 3 in addition to the highlights show on BBC1 and further syndication on a global basis. It was aslo the first televised awards show held at the new O2 complex.
