Melville adds UK experience to Middle East Team

Melville appoints Becky Drinkwater to the position of Exhibition Account Manager as the company strengthens its Middle East team following its growth in 2010.

Melville appoints Becky Drinkwater to the position of Exhibition Account Manager as the company strengthens its Middle East team following its growth in 2010.

Becky, who has worked for Melville in the UK for the past 10 years as an Event Manager, has relocated to Dubai to work on several important accounts. This strengthens the Melville team in the Middle East to over 40 people across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Jason Popp, Melville's Chief Operating Officer said: “Melville's international footprint allows us to make the most of the skills and talents within our organisation for all of our clients. The appointment of Becky to Melville Middle East is a great example of skills transfer across the group.”

Melville Middle East, with offices in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, is successfully producing several key shows in the region. During a five-week period in the autumn of 2010, Melville produced:

  • Big 5 Show, dmg’s international building and construction show (Dubai)
  • INDEX, dmg’s interior design show (Dubai)
  • ADIPEC, dmg’s oil and gas exhibition (Abu Dhabi)
  • BETT, Emap’s educational technology exhibition (Abu Dhabi)
  • BFE, UBM’s future education show (Abu Dhabi)

In addition, Melville Middle East completed high-end custom-built exhibits for several important clients.
