Melville have delivered a warm and dry Media Centre at Celtic Manor for the Ryder Cup which is currently beset by inclement weather. The Media centre consists of 390 media desks and 180 photographer desks, reception and welcoming areas, and an interview room.

In 2010 the European PGA decided that a new look was required for the Media Centre and Melville were appointed as principal contractor for fit out for the 2010 Ryder Cup currently under way at Celtic Manor in Newport Wales. Working with Melville the European PGA agreed on the new scheme and this was trialled at the Welsh open at Celtic Manor earlier in the year.

Mark Eddy of Melville Teamwork explains: "The Media Centre has been very well received, it demonstrates that Melville had the ability to offer and deliver projects for high profile events outside the exhibition arena. Our scale and breadth of service allowed us to work closely with the end client and to desired time scales."
