Ocean Media has reported a 29 per cent increase in visitors to the autumn season of National Wedding Shows in London Earls Court, Birmingham NEC and Manchester Central.

A total of 42,634 visitors (pending ABC audit) attended the three wedding shows over eight days throughout September and October, compared to 30,210 visitors at the 2013 autumn shows.

The National Wedding Show is the UK's largest wedding event, with over 300 wedding specialists from bridal boutiques and florists to jewellers and photographers. The flagship feature of the shows is the Bridal Catwalk which showcases dresses from the nation’s top designers and retailers’, with new collections from the likes of Suzanne Neville, Jenny Packham, Enzoani, Ivory & Co, Berketex, Justin Alexander, Alfred Angelo, Claire Pettibone and Debenhams.

A highlight of the autumn shows were the Top 10 sessions at The Wedding Theatre, produced by wedding show and TV producer Jane Galpin, which offered advice and demonstrations for brides, bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and grooms. During each session, a member of the audience was selected to take part in a live makeover and ‘big reveal’ on stage.

Gearing up for 2015, The National Wedding Show has announced its spring dates, with the first show taking place at Manchester Central on 7th and 8th February. Olympia London will then host the next show from 20th to 22nd February, followed by the NEC edition on 27th February to 1st March.
