ORM London’s Event Check-in Shortlisted for 2012 Appster Awards

Event Check-in, the stylish event registration app created by London agency ORM, has been nominated alongside HSBC, Nokia, Aviva, Deloitte and The Guardian for an accolade at this year’s annual Appster Awards.

The app, which launched last year, has already received far-reaching plaudits throughout the event organising community, and has been shortlisted for the Best Enterprise App award.

The ceremony will be the first Appster Awards, and will comprise of a ‘showbiz party’ involving the very best businesses in the mobile technology industry. Other categories include Best Consumer App, Best Payment App and Best Visual Design. ORMrepresent the only independent agency within the Best Enterprise category.

Event Check-in offers an easy to use on-site iPad-based registration tool where hosts check-in delegates through a unique secure QR code scanning system. The company can boast high profile clients including ITV, Channel 4, Ernst & Young, Apple, Arsenal FC and Monitise. The system was also recently used during the Euro 2012 football tournament to check-in Castrol’s VIP guests.
