Legend Exhibitions is anticipating a sell-out debut for its Retail Design Expo at Olympia London in March next year. According to the organisers, 60 per cent of exhibition space has already been sold or reserved in the four months since the show was launched.

Scheduled to take place on 10-11 March 2015, the show will sit alongside its sister event Retail Business Technology Expo. The show has been designed to be the leading annual UK event for the retail design industry, connecting the many elements of the ultra-creative retail design and visual merchandising sectors. It will be a prime showcase for store design, visual merchandising and branding.

John Bednall, CEO of Legend Exhibitions, commented on the show's popularity so far: “We were aware from our extensive research among retailers and designers that this event was likely to be popular, but we have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the industry.

“We have been staggered by the number of retail design luminaries willing to serve on our steering committee and contribute to the success of the show. We are also delighted to see so many key design, shop-fitting, lighting, flooring, surfaces, display, signage and print companies buying stands and sponsorships.’’

Highlights of the event will include a major exhibition, a conference programme led by the Who's Who in retail design and visual merchandising, roundtables and breakfast briefings, design pavilion and workshops with leading designers, architects and retailers.
