DB Systems provides AV support to Global Summit Fringe
DB Systems, an Audio Visual and IT rental service provider for the event industry, has been busy at ExCel this week, preparing for the opening of the Fringe of the Global summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict at ExCel London.
The summit was opened by The Foreign Secretary, William Hague and Angelina Jolie, Special Envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. This is the largest ever gathering on the subject and was organised with a view to creating irreversible momentum against sexual violence in conflict and practical action that impacts those on the ground.
Taking place alongside the formal meetings, the Fringe event consists of three days of free events open to the public, exploring a broad range of issues related to sexual violence in conflict. The Fringe will include film showings, performances, exhibitions, fashion shows and panel discussions. The event was organised by The Foreign and Commonwealth Office who appointed M as the lead creative and production agency, who partnered with DB Systems to successfully deliver this globally important event. In addition to providing the audio-visual support for the main stage, used by Jolie and Hague to open the event, DB Systems have also supplied a twitter wall and equipment for the 8 fringe theatres.
