AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS

We are Exhibitions.co.uk (“Company“, “we“, “us“, or “our“).

We operate the website https://exhibitions.co.uk (the “Site“), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the “Legal Terms“) (collectively, the “Services“).

An online B2B exhibition industry directory, content hub, and event discovery platform connecting event organisers, venues, suppliers, and exhibitors.

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you“), and Exhibitions.co.uk, concerning your access to and use of the Services. You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

We will provide you with prior notice of any scheduled changes to the Services you are using. The modified Legal Terms will become effective upon posting or notifying you by email. By continuing to use the Services after the effective date of any changes, you agree to be bound by the modified terms.

4. USER REGISTRATION

You may be required to register to use the Services. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine, in our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

5. PURCHASES AND PAYMENT

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Direct Debit (GoCardless)
  • Direct Bank Transfer / BACS

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the Services. Sales tax/VAT will be added to the price of purchases as deemed required by us. All payments shall be in British Pound (GBP).

6. SUBSCRIPTIONS

Billing and Renewal

Your subscription will continue and automatically renew unless cancelled. You consent to our charging your payment method on a recurring basis without requiring your prior approval for each recurring charge, until such time as you cancel the applicable order.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account or contacting us. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term.

7. RETURN & REFUND POLICY

All sales and subscription payments are final and no refunds will be issued.

8. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make the Services available. As a user of the Services, you agree not to:

  • Systematically retrieve data or other content from the Services to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database, or directory without written permission from us.
  • Scrape, harvest, or extract directory listings, exhibitor data, venue data, or contact details without express written permission.
  • Sell or otherwise transfer your profile.
  • Trick, defraud, or mislead us and other users.
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Services.
  • Disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or the Services.
  • Use any information obtained from the Services in order to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, Trojan horses, or repetitive spam.
  • Use the Services as part of any effort to compete with us.

9. USER GENERATED CONTRIBUTIONS

The Services may invite you to chat, contribute to profiles, blogs, directories, and post content (collectively, “Contributions”). You represent and warrant that your Contributions do not infringe any third-party proprietary rights, are accurate, and are not defamatory, obscene, or unlawful.

10. CONTRIBUTION LICENCE

By posting Contributions or directory profiles, you grant us an unrestricted, unlimited, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free, worldwide right and licence to host, use, copy, reproduce, display, and distribute such Contributions across our Services. You retain full ownership of all of your intellectual property rights associated with your Contributions.

11. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND CONTENT

The Services may contain links to third-party websites and third-party content. We are not responsible for any third-party websites or third-party content accessed through the Services, and inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by us.

12. ADVERTISERS

We allow advertisers and sponsors to display their advertisements and promotions. We simply provide the space to place such advertisements, and we have no other relationship with advertisers.

13. SERVICES MANAGEMENT

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the Services for violations of these Legal Terms and take appropriate legal or administrative action against anyone who violates them.

14. PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Services at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice.

18. GOVERNING LAW

These Legal Terms are governed by and interpreted following the laws of the United Kingdom, and the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction.

19. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The Parties agree to first attempt to negotiate any Dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating arbitration proceedings in the United Kingdom conducted in English.

20. CORRECTIONS

There may be information on the Services that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.

21. DISCLAIMER

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

22. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID, IF ANY, BY YOU TO US DURING THE SIX (6) MONTH PERIOD PRIOR TO ANY CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING.

23. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand arising out of your Contributions, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Legal Terms.

24. USER DATA

We will maintain certain data that you transmit to the Services for the purpose of managing performance. You are solely responsible for all data that you transmit.

25. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

Visiting the Services, sending emails, and completing online forms constitute electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications from us.

26. MISCELLANEOUS

These Legal Terms and any policies posted by us constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

The listings, supplier profiles, venue profiles, event details, and advertisements displayed on the platform are provided for general informational purposes only. We do not endorse, guarantee, or vet the quality, safety, legality, or reliability of any third-party products, services, venues, or events listed. Any transaction, booking, contract, or dispute between you and any third-party supplier, organiser, or venue contacted through the platform is solely between you and that third party.
